Data Model and Interfaces

All Riva engines use the FTDL format for data preparation and data transport. FTDL (Financial Transaction Description Language) is a flexible XML-based schema for the representation of all of the relevant information of financial transactions.

Permanent data storage in the RiVa Web Portal is carried out via an open relational database concept. Client specific analyses can be implemented on the basis of this open data model and integrated into the existing application at any time. The basic functionalities required for this, for example the creation of Excel files, are already part of the application.

For the delivery of raw data from the institute’s systems, a variety of standardized interface methods are available. These ensure a uniform delivery for the user without unnecessary redundancy.

Due to the variable combination of data sets and the calculation models, different, especially individual, methods can be used. This provides great flexibility at low implementation and operating costs.
