ABACUS/Solvency II supports the regulatory reporting Solvency II for insurers with numerous functionalities. Read here more about the core functionalities of our software solution.
The regulatory reporting for insurance companies in accordance with Solvency II prescribes quantitative reports, the so-called Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs) as well as qualitative Reports, the Regular Supervisory Report (RSR) and the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFRC). Both requirements are covered in individual modules by ABACUS/Solvency II.
A status monitor gives the user the possibility to start all relevant processes in a simple manner and to observe its progress. Data can be loaded via the XML interface set up from previous systems in ABACUS/Solvency II via this interaction and further processes, in order to create the final regulatory report to the corresponding supervisory authorities.
The creation of the requested QRT will be carried out within the module “Solvency II QRTs”. All QRTs are shown on a user-friendly surface and can be called up, modified and exported individually. They are shown there in various groups. On the one hand a differentiation is made between solo and group reports and on the other between annual and quarterly reports. On the whole 134 QRTs are shown in this model.
Other analysis possibilities: (e.g. drill down) allow the user a detailed view of the data on which it is based. The export possibilities of the reports according to Microsoft Office Excel and PDF allow extensive evaluation as well as management reporting.
The Module “Solvency II/RSR/SFCR” supports insurance companies in the preparation of the qualitative reports RSR and SFCR. It functions thereby as the central storage medium for the reports and simplifies the structure as well as the division of the document. An interface to Microsoft Office Word enables a dynamic link to the values calculated on the QRT. The individual sub-reports can be combined at the end to form a continuous report.
The combination of both the modules forms the optimal support for the regulatory reporting by insurance companies. In addition to the functionalities described here ABACUS/Solvency II is adjustable to client-specific requirements.
